Hot Springs Hiking Adventures was started by local resident Alexandra after many hiking travels over the past decade that led her to Hot Springs in 2023. ​

I have visited Hot Springs over the past few decades since it was our family vacation spot. My mom retired here over ten years ago and 5 years ago I also purchased my home here. One of the main reasons I chose to move from a big city to Hot Springs was due to the all the trails and hiking opportunities. That said, the very first time I went on a morning hike determined to complete the Sunset loop, I was underprepared, got lost and after feeling defeated I told myself I would never hike these trails again. I am now hiking and trail running on them daily. In 2024, I thought it would be nice to have a longer hike option for visitors like me who enjoy an adventure, which is when I started considering this project. The mission is to provide visitors with an enjoyable and engaging day trek so that they will leave the National Park with a memorable experience, unlike my first hiking adventure. I am also passionate about public lands and plan to support our National Park through this local project.
